Views on the Well-Being of Groups of Informal Caregivers: A Cluster Analysis Using the Example of Saxony

This study examines the well-being of informal caregivers in Saxony, Germany, amidst demographic changes leading to increased caregiving demands. Using a 2019 cross-sectional survey and cluster analysis, two caregiver groups were identified, differentiated by stress levels and sociodemographic factors. Findings highlight the heterogeneity of caregiver experiences and emphasize the need for tailored interventions involving policymakers, care providers, and insurers to alleviate caregiver burdens.
