This qualitative study explores the dietary patterns, nutrition knowledge, and influencing factors among fishing, brick-kiln, forestry, farming, plantation, and salt-pan worker communities. It examines beliefs, cultural practices, food procurement habits, and barriers to dietary diversity, with a focus on women and children under five. Findings reveal limited access to nutrient-rich foods, gendered food distribution, low fruit/vegetable intake, and reliance on staples. The study identifies structural, economic, and cultural barriers to healthier diets and calls for targeted nutrition interventions.
